DONATE TODAY

Just to provide food for one cat for a year costs about $500 (plus the cost of medical care).  The cats and Island Cats both depend on generous hearts to care for them. Make your donation online now. No contribution is too small or too large and is fully tax deductible.

VOLUNTEERS APPRECIATION PICNIC 2010

About 40 wonderful and greatly appreciated volunteers and caretakers throughout the Island gathered together on Sunday, July 17, at the Royal Poinciana Chapel when the Board of Directors expressed their extreme gratitude for the work provided to assist the Field Operations Teams.  By assuming responsibility for monitoring and feeding various colonies of homeless and feral cats, the Field Ops can spend more time trapping cats for the necessary sterilization surgeries.

The theme for this year’s picnic was TEAMWORK.  Directors said that with all the volunteers and leaders working toward the common goal of humane care for the homeless and feral cats in Palm Beach this is the perfect example of TEAMWORK.  “We cannot thank these caring people enough for all that they do….their efforts make our job easier,” said Field Director Winifred “Wink” Barber.

“To everyone that is feeding cats, has adopted a cat, or simply monitors a colony for us, we cannot thank them enough for all they do….we appreciate this kind hearted individuals,” said David Leavitt, President.
